The simple food
There were two friends. One was wise and very simple. He had a small medical shop in a village. He was contented with what he was earning. He was kind and gave medicines free to the needy poor . His motive was never profit, but service to humanity was his goal. His friend was was greedy and went to the city for earning. Being a sycophant of a greedy wealthy business man, he lived in great luxury.
One day this friend came to the village and called on the wise man while eating. Looking at the simple food, the friend said, " My friend, if you can please my master like me, you will be free from this wretched food." The wise man smiled and replied, " My dear friend, if you can be pleased with this simple food, you can be free from the wretched job of pleasing the greedy master."
