If there is a heaven, it is here, it is here, it is here.

If there is a heaven, it is here, it is here, it is here.

There is only bliss in life. If the approach to a situation is proper, there will be experience of immense joy. It is said  if one has eyes to see and ears to hear, one can read sermons in stones and hear music in rivulets and brooks.  It is the mind that matters. Pleasure and pain are at the sensory level, at the surface only. If man has control over his mind, sensory pleasure and pain will never touch him.

There was a pious lady. She went to a village. The village had few houses . It was night time. She went in front of those houses, knocked at their door asking for shelter for that night only. Since she was a stranger,  none of them opened the door. The next village was very far off. So she had to spend that night in an open field near by. She went and slept under a cherry tree.
It was mid-night. Due to cold she got up from the sleep. She saw the beautiful cherry tree laden with blossoms all over. And there was full moon in the sky shedding soothing rays every where. The scene was so captivating ! She experienced an inexplicable joy.
In the morning, she went back to the same village and thanked all the villagers for not giving her the shelter earlier night.  She expressed her gratitude to them that it was out of their compassion they had closed the doors and did not give her shelter. The villagers were stunned. The lady added that for the first time in her life she saw a beautiful cherry tree adorned with blossoms glistening in the full moon night. Such a scene she had never seen in her life and such a bliss she never experienced before. If villagers had given her shelter she would have been inside and deprived of such a natural glory and such an ennobling experience.
This is one approach to this situation. Another could be like this. A person in her place would have become angry and upset and with such feelings of anger and hatred, he would not not have noticed and enjoyed the sight of the cherry tree and full moon light. Because if the mind is not clear and attentive, the things seen by the external senses cannot have impact. It is the nature of the feelings in the mind that makes the situation pleasant or unpleasant. So if you bless the situation it has no power to hurt you.
