Kitchen tip

When vegetables seem to be withered dip them in cold water with a little salt or lemon juice for an hour. The vegetables will return to their freshness and firmness.
While boiling cauliflower florets , add a little lemon juice or milk to ward off the peculiar smell of the vegetable.
While making Paneer masala recipe, fry paneer cubes and put them in salt water for sometime. Paneer will be soft.
Before grating cheese, apply a little oil on the grater to prevent cheese particle sticking in between the holes ,making it difficult for washing.
After cutting garlic, onion with a knife apply a little salt ( rub) on the blade of the knife , and then wash in cold water. The odor will go away.
